My Photo on Engrish Funny
It’s not hilarious, but you should up-vote it anyway. It’s currently on page 2, but it might move around.
100s of Free Worship Backgrounds & Graphics [Church Media]
I was recently hired by a church in my area to maintain their computers, networks, information services, and web site. Being a poor college student, and previously, a jobless high school student, I’ve gained an appreciation for frugality. That, combined with witnessing disproportionate amounts of cash misdirected in other area ministries, I am determined to support the ministries at this church by positively affecting the most people and supporting the ministry staff while operating under one of the smallest budgets.
One of the responsibilities I took over was the creation of the Sunday morning visual presentation (lyrics, sermon notes, announcements, etc). Previously, someone purchased stock photos from iStockphoto to use as backgrounds for lyrics. Unfortunately, it seemed that this person (long gone before I arrived) had very little money with which to work. There were only a handful of images which were only in small to medium-sized web quality; certainly not something that would look any good when blown up on a large projection screen.
So, off I went on a hunt to find web sites and Flickr users that would allow me to use their photos freely. Sure, there’s plenty of sites out there that offer spectacular photos made specifically for the purpose, but it all comes at a price. After some time, I’ve discovered a few good sites, and one really good Flickr group who freely share their works with the church community. Even if you don’t need backgrounds, or any of the images found on these sites, they’re a great place to get ideas for your own graphic projects.

Battlefield Heroes on Pansy Players
I’m really interested in EA’s new venture, Battlefield Heroes, because not only is it a first-person shooter, but it’s FREE. I’m intrigued to see how they’ll pull that off, and if the ads they put in the game will pay off (or just piss of the players).
Anywho, below is a trailer for the game, and if you’re not interested in FPSs, then at least watch it for the quick throw down they administer on 15-year olds who shoot you in the face:
Anyone Can Be A Robotic Overlord [Lib-B the Hexapod]
Calling all coders, geeks, and gadget freaks!
Usually we worry about the robots that threaten to take over the world and enslave their masters, but who would have thought they themselves would be the ones to create such devices?
Now, I know there’s a million YouTube videos out there with similar, or more advanced robots, but the point is, anyone with a passion for technology, such as Paul here, and the ability to use Microsoft’s Robotic Developer Studio can create a robot.
Next on 365D, I create a robot to do blog postings for me!

P.S. That post last week about Google’s new fav icon became this blog’s most popular post in matter of a few hours. ![]()

I’m an Infringer
I used to have a 3-second clip from the movie, “The Transporter” on YouTube. Just something I had put up years ago. I received an email from YouTube today:
Dear Member:
This is to notify you that we have removed or disabled access to the following material as a result of a third-party notification by Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation claiming that this material is infringing:
The Transporter Door Kick: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=46pk02Rr7To
This is the second time I’ve had a video removed. The first time I had uploaded a clip of the Rolling Stones playing at Altamont Speedway and their infamous “Woodstock of the West.” Apparently, the clip was actually part of the documentary on the topic that had been done many years prior, and I got dinged for that, too. Perhaps I should see what other videos I have on YouTube that might get my in trouble.
I’m an infringer! Sounds… dangerous. Baby, my middle name is Infringement.
